Calvary Chapel Toppenish
"Simply teaching God's word simply."

Our Pastor is the Assistant Pastor

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Senior Pastor!

Our pastor's name is Dallas Sandoval and has been married to his wonderful wife Mari for 17 years. They have 2 daughters, Elienai and Maranatha and a son, Yisrael.

Pastor Dallas was born in Toppenish, WA, to the late Ricardo P. Sandoval and the late Terry L. LaFollette. His mom died in a car wreck when he was a year and a half old and  was raised by his awesome dad. In 1975, his dad received Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and began to raise Dallas to know the Lord. He
grew up in Wapato attending various Pentecostal churches. When he was 15 years old, the Pastor and elders of Templo Berea laid hands on him and Pastor Elias Moreno prophesied that the Lord was calling Dallas to preach the Gospel, about a year later he rebelled against both his heavenly Father and his earthly father. He was 16 years old and under the strongholds of alcohol and marijuana. He still managed to graduate from high school and soon after found himself falling further and further away from Jesus Christ, and deeper and deeper into darkness.

After 8 years of drugs and drunkeness, Dallas found himself to be empty, lonely, anxious, paranoid, hateful, sinful, and lost. He remembered what his dad told him about God’s unfailing love for sinful man, also that the Lord was just and would judge him for rejecting His Son. In 1997, he rededicated his heart to the Lord Jesus Christ, along with his wife who had been raised a Catholic. He began teaching the word of God to teenagers at the Wapato Assembly of God in 1998. In 1999, Evangelist Tommy Hammond told him that God would call him to pastor a church. In that same year, Dallas and his wife began working with the youth at New Beginning Pentecostal Church of God in Wapato. In the beginning of 2003 a brother in the Lord told Dallas that he had a dream that he was pastoring a church in Toppenish. After one year of serving at 4th Avenue Community Church, on June 9th, 2004, Pastor John Abercrombie told Dallas that the Lord had spoken to him about him taking on the ministry. The grace of God has began a good work. Dallas has had the priviledge to serve under and be mentored by some wonderful men of God such as his father, Richard Sandoval, Pastor Tom Ridout, Pastor James Wise, Pastor Mario Garza and Pastor John Abercrombie. Pastor Tony Magana of Calvary Chapel Yakima Valley, has also been a major help to Dallas. He thanks the Lord for all of the godly men who have influenced him in the ministry. He has given his life to knowing God, and learning and teaching the whole counsel of His word. We appreciate his spontaneous humor and straight forward, simple teaching of the Holy Scriptures. He is a man of God, a family man and a servant of God's people, in that order.
